Designed to support early learners, the 82,372-square-foot Ashland-Greenwood Primary School serves preschool through second grade. The new facility features separate classroom wings for each grade level, a commons area with a full commercial kitchen, a gymnasium with retractable bleachers, and a media center. A secure main entrance leads to an administration area and faculty offices, with a separate secure entrance dedicated to preschool.
The project also included two playgrounds and associated site work, including new roads, drop-off lanes, and a parking lot. Built adjacent to the occupied high school and simultaneously with another school on campus, construction required careful coordination to maintain safety and minimize disruption.
