Colorado State University Bay Facility

Fort Collins,

The Bay Facility at Colorado State University is a newly constructed 13,550-square-foot small animal research facility serving the CSU Veterinary Department. Designed to support a range of research and clinical functions, the facility includes specialized holding rooms that accommodate a variety of species, including rodents, rabbits, felines, canines, and livestock. Procedure spaces adjacent to the holding rooms provide dedicated areas for minimally invasive procedures, supporting efficient workflows and advanced research techniques. The program is closely aligned with major research initiatives at the Veterinary Medical Complex, including the Flint Animal Cancer Center, the Center for Companion Animal Studies, the C. Wayne McIlwraith Translational Medicine Institute, the Equine Orthopedic Research Center, and the Preclinical Surgical Research Laboratory.

The Bay Facility also proudly serves as the new home of CAM the Ram, Colorado State University’s beloved mascot.
