The Madison Central School District Middle School project includes a targeted building addition and extensive renovations designed to improve safety, functionality, and day-to-day operations. The scope includes construction of an approximately 3,500-square-foot addition featuring a new middle school entrance and administrative office area, creating a clearer, more secure point of access for students, staff, and visitors.
Site improvements are a key component of the project and include a new school bus lane that separates student pickup and drop-off, improving traffic flow and enhancing safety during peak arrival and dismissal times. In addition, approximately 20,000 square feet of renovations and updates are planned throughout the existing middle school to modernize learning spaces and support building performance.
