The new Welding Technology Center is a 96,000-square-foot, two-story Career and Technical Education (CTE) facility designed to provide state-of-the-art teaching spaces for welding applications, fabrication processes, and related arts instruction. The center includes a 30,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal building, a 1,800-square-foot testing lab, a 3,900-square-foot fabrication lab, seven interactive classrooms, and two modern labs featuring 180 welding bays.
Constructed with a precast concrete structure and a fully sprinkled fire protection system, the facility is designed to optimize performance, energy efficiency, and durability. The roof system features an insulated, fully adhered EPDM assembly on a metal deck and metal roof. The building envelope meets stringent energy codes and architectural standards, balancing functionality with design intent.
