The Westside Community Schools ABC Building project delivered a focused interior renovation and major building system upgrades within an actively occupied facility. The scope included renovations to approximately 4,700 square feet of interior space within the 13,450-square-foot building, along with vertical transportation improvements and comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades designed to improve performance and accessibility.
Interior work included full demolition and renovation of key spaces, including a renovated board room with updated finishes and a reconfigured lower level featuring a new break room and an additional conference room. A new elevator and elevator shaft were installed through existing floors, improving accessibility while requiring careful coordination within the occupied building. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations were completed in phased sequences to maintain daily operations.
HVAC upgrades included a complete system replacement, supported by a coordinated system switch-over and temporary heating and cooling to ensure uninterrupted building use.
